Delicious Gluten Free Pizza #glutenfreerecipes #healthyeating #healthyrecipes #pizza

Hey everyone! Tonight I made gluten free pizza and it came out delicious. Making this at home is a great way to cut calories and control what’s going into your meal. Plus it’s  fairly simple to make.

The Ingredients:

Pamela’s Gluten Free Pizza Crust

1 packet of active dry yeast

1 cup & 2 tbsp water

2 tbsp olive oil

Pizza sauce

Part skim mozzarella or whatever your cheese preference is.

Corn meal

You can use whatever toppings you like however I love tomato and basil pizza. You’ll notice in the picture at the bottom that half of the pizza is pepperoni (turkey), mushrooms,  and cheese. That is how my other half likes his pizza.

1. Start by making the dough. This does take around an hour and a half for the dough to rise so make sure you start early. Combine Pamela’s gluten free pizza crust mix with the active yeast, water, and olive oil and mix well in a stand mixer or bread maker if you have one for about 10-15 minutes. The dough will be sticky! I put a little bit of oil on my hands to prevent sticking to form the dough into a ball. Lastly wrap the dough in saran wrap and leave it to rise for 1-2 hours.

2. Next prep your toppings.

3. Pre-heat the oven to 475 degrees. Once the dough has risen spread on a pizza stone or non-stick cookie sheet. To prevent the dough to sticking I spread corn meal before spreading the dough. Once the oven is pre-heated bake the dough for 10 minutes.

4. The dough is now ready for your toppings. Start by putting on the sauce. I like mine with just a couple tablespoons of sauce. Then add a layer of cheese and top with the sliced tomatoes and basil. Then add an additional layer of cheese on top. Finally go ahead and pop it back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or to your preferred crispiness.

5. Once it’s cooked to your liking remove from oven, cut, and enjoy!!
